About Drew Korschun’s creative work
At his core, Drew Korschun is a writer of fiction. At the University of San Francisco, he worked with Professor Dave Madden on his MFA thesis, a speculative fiction novel called Genesis, Exodus, and continues to shape it into further drafts. Also en route is A Little of this Honey; set at a fictionalized Duke University, this queer coming-of-age novel runs slantwise to the biblical story of David and Jonathan. He is perhaps most proud of his short stories, which he continues to work on and seek a literary home for.
Incidentally, most of his published creative work is either nonfiction (news and op-ed) or poetry. Check out some pieces below, from years recent and long past.
